blood and battle
ARE ALL I HAVE EVER KNOWN
Agron had never expected to run into Deimos again. After they had parted ways -- which had been on fairly good terms -- Agron had thought that to be the last he would see of him. Deimos was the only other person Agron had been in a romantic relationship with. But alas, their lifestyles were too different. Deimos had extended invitation for Agron to join him upon a life on the sea, but Agron could not leave his brother, nor ask his brother to leave their life behind. So it had resulted in the ending of their relationship. Only to find each other again, though this time . . . with much that was different than the last. Duro was no longer of this world. Agron's body had undergone permanent damage. And of course, Nasir.
Agron loved Nasir with all his heart so even seeing Deimos again, brought no conflict to the German's mind. It was merely good to see someone who at the very least was an old friend. They had spent the last several days in each others company, enjoying Nasir getting to know him . . . see glimpses of the man he was before slavery. Though upon return to their home this particular evening, Agron noticed that Nasir was quiet. Waiting until they were inside their home, he then finally asked. "Silence filled conversation on return," he began to say, moving closer to his lover and gently placing his hand on his back. "Is all well?" Because his gut was telling him something was wrong, and he hoped that talking about it would help. "Give voice and find troubles eased," he added on with a smile of support.
