❀Laeta ❀ The morning rays of sunlight broke through the window, and it caused Laeta to blink awake. She stayed there in bed, unmoving while her mind softly awakened. She felt well rested, and because of that it took her a moment to recall why. Her son! Pushing up from her bed, she looked at the baby bed near by and saw it was empty. She found herself curious, and quickly dressed to leave the room. When Spartacus said good bye to them all, none of them knew that she was then caring his child. His general Agron had given aid to make sure that she had crossed to safely. Upon realizing the child she carried was his brother's, he had given more aid. Which was how they had come to this village while pretending to be married. They still have separate beds, and she wished him to find love, but he stayed to make sure her child had a father. One who could honor the man who sired him. Stepping out into the main room of the small home they shared, she looked for her son and the man who was father to him--in life if not in blood. They were not to be seen, but she knew they would not be far. Agron was trusted friend when it came to making sure her son was safe. Their son. For the child knew no other father. "Agron?" She called from the door, looking out over their farm for the man she called dearest friend.
