The Tagging System is a great way to notify other members when you have posted to them, or have a post that you would like them to either read or reply to! Tagging a member can be done by using the @ symbol, directly followed by the username of the person you would like to tag!

If you are unsure about the username of a member, you can easily find out by going to their Profile, click the third tab called 'Author' and you will find their username there along with the text "Tag me @username".

Please note that some members may have turned off thier notifications, so if you are starting a thread for them, it would always be best to make sure to inform them either by ensuring they knew you will be tagging them, OR pming them the link to the starter!

Tagging can be used both in role play threads, as well as OOC [Out Of Character] threads!

Here is a quick guide to some codes to help jazz up your posts and/or sigs! Copy and paste into the text box, changing the areas that say "INSERT TEXT/URL HERE" accordingly.

• To color your text:

  (the #'s stand for each letter and number in the color hex code. Entering colors such as 'red', 'yellow', 'green' etc will also work)
• To make your text bold:

Q: What is this site based on?
A: This role play is based on the tv series Spartacus.

Q: Is there a set timeline on the site?
A: No. Threads can take place any time before, during, or after any of the episodes in any of the seasons. We also have an AU section where you can have "What If..." threads.

Q: How many times do I have to post as my character?
A: We ask that you post at least 2 times a week. If you have multiple characters, then that is 2 times a week PER character.

Q: How many characters am I allowed to have?
A: You are permitted to have as many made up characters as you like, however please remember the posting requirement and don't take more than you can handle. While we have no set rule limiting the number of canons, we ask that if you are taking more than one canon, that neither of those characters have many scenes together as we would not want to create any character conflict by the same person taking two characters that interact a great deal. For example: one person taking Spartacus and Mira.

Q: Do I have to wait for the admin to approve my bio?
A: Yes. We require that you wait until bio approval before posting anywhere in the role play, plotting in the Plots & Plans thread, or requesting graphics. You will receive a PM from us when your bio has been approved.

Q: Can I apply for canon characters that are not in the cast list?
A: Yes. Since there are so many characters, we have only listed a few of the main ones, but any canons not listed there are assumed to be open for application.

Q: Can I apply for canon characters that died in the show?
A: Yes. However if you wish to play that canon, then you can only have threads that take place before their death. Or if you would like threads that take place where they did not die or somehow returned, then those threads must be posted in the "AU What If" board.

Q: Which boards are role play ones?
A: Any boards listed under the category "Role Play Locations" are boards for role play threads to be posted in. Please do not post any rp threads outside of these boards.

Q: Am I allowed to be in more than one thread at one time?
A: Yes. You are permitted to have your character in more than one thread at one time since there is no set timeline on the board. Just be sure you can keep track of all the threads you are in and that you can handle all of them. A suggestion would be bookmarking them to keep track.
