The house of Crassus bows to no one Marcus Crassus was going to war, and the anticipation would keep him up at night. He had made move toward higher title, and finally it was gained! He didn't often like to be under handed, but he would not allow Rome to be little him in order to use him for his wealth! Now they would see what the Crassus name stood for! He would use this to force his son to stop acting like a spoiled child, and become a man as well.
For now, the was seeking out Kore. After having told his wife that she would not be allowed to come with him, he was making move to invite the one woman he did want with him. Kore. He had not planned to come to care so deeply for the woman, but he had. He would not see her from his side for so long. He could not even imagine it. Which was why he was going to ask her to come with him. Not demand it, but ask it of her.
He found her in his office, and he paused to watch her for a moment. Over the years she had only grown more lovely. He stood there, waiting for her to take notice of him, and enjoying the simple pleasure of watching her.

Kore waited patiently for her Dominus to arrive and in the act of waiting, her mind wandered to earlier events. Caesar was little more than an animal after his time away. Kore had never met the man in person before but a few of the older slaves had. They reported even as a child he was bold and violent. At least two men now lay drugged to dreams by the medicus for that violence.
She'd not expected to care for Crassus when first arriving. She expected him to do all others had done: purchase her service to see a child safely brought into this world then return her to her former master or sell her to another. But he was a curious man full of questions and concern for his heir, though he tempered it greatly before others, and so they had spent a great deal of time together while the Domina healed. What was between them now was the culmination of a slow steady burn spanning well over a decade. Respect was the foremost thing between them, But when added with kindess, smiles and the simple pleasures in life had grown to love.
The feeling of eyes upon her brought Kore back to the present. "Dominus," she bowed and remained so bowed." Apologies for earlier." Though what could she have done? Caesar was a beast.

The house of Crassus bows to no one He watched as she bowed her head and greeted him by his title. He longed to hear his name from her lips, and if she agreed to everything he would ask of her then he hoped that he would. For now, he would hold off asking things of her, until he had assumed himself she was well after the manhandling that Cesar had given her. "No apologies needed," he told her, "the fault was in sending you to bring him wine, and not another. I should have expected him to seek out such things."
Walking toward her he came to a rest just feet from her. "I hope that there are no lasting affects from his unwanted touch." He thought he had arrived early enough to see her unharmed, but he would rather know for sure. The sight of her standing there while another touched her had enraged him. Had he not needed to align himself with the man he would not have continued to play host after that.

" How could you have imagined a man so brazen as to behave that way in your own home, under your hospitality?" Kore chuckled softly and shook her head." I can not evennimagine it, Dominus. And are not wild imagines the speciality of women?" It touched her heart to know he worried after her well being." No, Dominus. The shock, disgust and embarrassment shall fade with time. Did he behave himself for you? Or will I need to have harsh words with the man?" Marcus Crassus
