The house of Crassus bows to no one Crassus had not known what he planned to do with the kiss, only knowing that he could not hold himself back from it, and yet it was welcomed by the rebel general. Not only welcomed by encouraged. Crassus was a man who enjoyed control in all things, but he had learned to share the control while in bed with the other man. He took comfort in the kiss, and the familiar taste of him. He enjoyed feeling his hand on his cheek, and later in the pulling of his clothes. The metal hit the ground with a clank, and it brought him to the light enough to wonder if this was a way of Agron trying to safe his own life, but he did not dwell on it as he felt himself being led back toward the bed.
He returned the favor, and tugged at the limited clothing the fellow general wore. Pulling it from his shoulders and dropping it the moment it cleared them. He wanted the other man naked, so he could feel him against his skin, and seek what comfort that allowed in this moment. Once the top half of him was naked, Crassus wrapped his arms around Agron's shoulders and back, and pulled him to him, wanting to keep him so close the war could not touch them! Their hips brushed, and he wanted to feel more, as he leaned his hips into the younger man in a half demand half plea for him to continue quicker.

The house of Crassus bows to no one Marcus Crassus didn't know how it had come to this. He entered into his tent and looked at the man there, bound to a beam. His breathing slowed, and deepened as he looked at the man who had entered his camp as a Roman, pretended to be a Roman, and even someone found himself in Crassus' bed. They had become lovers, and Crassus' guard had slipped down. He had come to trust him, and rise him int he ranks . . . and then he turned out that the man he had taken to heart was an rebel slave.
He stepped forward, staring at the younger man in the rebel garb, and tried to force his mind to come up with something rational. To deny that this was the truth. Knowing his men were outside and there was no way that he could escape, Marcus picked up his blade and walked forward--allowing himself to look menacing before cutting the other man free. Tossing the blade to the floor, he turned to stare at the man in his face, ready to demand answers, ready to order his death, ready to . . . to . . .
Unable to say anything he stopped trying, and just took the moment to stop thinking, by stepping forward, and claiming the young man's lips for his own.

The house of Crassus bows to no one Marcus left his own tent, and went to seek out Kore. He knew what order he had to give but he had not done so yet. He did was putting it off to last, since the affect it had over him was so great. She had killed his son rather then trusting him with the truth. She had sided with his enemies, and left him in their bed rather then trusting him. He could not imagine how little she must had thought of him, that she would not trust his affection toward her. That he would not have protected her. Instead, she had choose to betray, lie, and to kill--three things he had never thought she could even think about, much less do.
He arrive outside the tent where she was held, as she asked for peppermint from the medicus. He pushed into the tent, and stood by the door. He wore his Roman armor, and sword since they would begin departing for Rome soon. With Spartacus dead, they held the victory. "Why?" He demanded to know. She was not hurt, he knew that. He had only put trusted men near her during this time, and she had returned to the camp unharmed. Clearly the rebels had not done harm to her, even knowing who she was.

The house of Crassus bows to no one Marcus Crassus awoke with a slight start, having thought that he heard a family voice. He sat up slightly thinking he could even see her in the dark, but when he turned to calmly light a candle, he knew it would be only shadows of a dream. Refusing to look back to make sure he rose from bed, and reached for a robe. The dreams always made him need air. It was not the first time he had woken up to her name in his mind, only to look at his wife and remember.
He walked out of the room, and to the great hall that opened to a view of Rome at his feet. Breathing in deeply he let him mind clear from the dream. This time he could have swore that he really heard her. No longer was her voice one of memory but of her talking to you about what he did. Did that weight on him? Yes, it did. He had not liked it, and in doing so he had felt himself harden and loose some of his ability to care for others around him. It was only in his remaining son, that he could be so free with. Even then it was hard for the reminders of his fallen son was there.

The house of Crassus bows to no one He could not help but to let some of his pride show when he spoke of the day his son--or perhaps daughter--came into the world. He worked hard and spent most of his time busy with work, but he planned to try and change that once his son was here, and even more so once he could spend some time with his son in an compatibility that was beyond that of a crying babe.
"I will have you taken there now. I will send coin to your master, for you to remain." He told her, deciding to go ahead and buy her. Since slaves were not allowed things, he had not offered to send anyone for anything. "If you have need of something to give of my wife you only need to voice it." He would give any coin to make this go smoothly. "You will give report to me on any concerns." He wanted to be kept int he know, and did not trust his wife to not try to 'spare him the worry' by not telling him of something small.

The house of Crassus bows to no one He watched as she bowed her head and greeted him by his title. He longed to hear his name from her lips, and if she agreed to everything he would ask of her then he hoped that he would. For now, he would hold off asking things of her, until he had assumed himself she was well after the manhandling that Cesar had given her. "No apologies needed," he told her, "the fault was in sending you to bring him wine, and not another. I should have expected him to seek out such things."
Walking toward her he came to a rest just feet from her. "I hope that there are no lasting affects from his unwanted touch." He thought he had arrived early enough to see her unharmed, but he would rather know for sure. The sight of her standing there while another touched her had enraged him. Had he not needed to align himself with the man he would not have continued to play host after that.

The house of Crassus bows to no one Marcus had a choice to make. The final battle had been won. Some of the rebels escaped, but he would not be the one to give chance over the mountain after them. He would be returning to Rome. It was just as well, for his heart was no longer in the fight for power to his name. He had lost his son, and he had lost Kore. Even though she was here, he knew they would never be how it was. He had assumed he would ride in and defeat the rebels and ride home a victor with the world at his feet. Now he saw the true cost to war.
At dawn they would begin putting all the rebels to death, by hanging them along to Road to Rome. All of them. Especially the general they had. He knew that would mean Kore too. She had killed his son rather then telling him of what happened. She had joined the rebels. She had betrayed him. He had not ordered anyone to touch her yet, and as he sat in his tent staring into the fire, he knew that he would have too. Just as he knew the order would kill him.
He had loved her. She had been this bright sunlight in his life, and he had placed her above wife, and above all others. He had assumed that because he had shown this care for her, and treated her with respect that she would have stayed with him. He had never once thought she would do this. He could see he was wrong about many things.

The house of Crassus bows to no one Marcus Crassus was going to war, and the anticipation would keep him up at night. He had made move toward higher title, and finally it was gained! He didn't often like to be under handed, but he would not allow Rome to be little him in order to use him for his wealth! Now they would see what the Crassus name stood for! He would use this to force his son to stop acting like a spoiled child, and become a man as well.
For now, the was seeking out Kore. After having told his wife that she would not be allowed to come with him, he was making move to invite the one woman he did want with him. Kore. He had not planned to come to care so deeply for the woman, but he had. He would not see her from his side for so long. He could not even imagine it. Which was why he was going to ask her to come with him. Not demand it, but ask it of her.
He found her in his office, and he paused to watch her for a moment. Over the years she had only grown more lovely. He stood there, waiting for her to take notice of him, and enjoying the simple pleasure of watching her.

The house of Crassus bows to no one He waited for answer, and when she spoke he found himself surprised she would question him. He had expected her to meekly agree, or answer and for him to have doubt to her skill. However she showed hints to her skill as she questioned for knowledge toward his wife's health. It pleased him that she would do so, risking reprimand. Crassus was knew many in Rome who would have reacted unfavorably toward her questions, but he prided himself on being above them.
"I regret to admit that I do not know the answer you seek." He admitted, not having taken all the details of his wife's care in. "There has been nothing to raise alarm thus far, and I would see her well comforted so none arise." He worked hard for his coin and he would use it as he pleased.
It was her later question that he found odd from a slave, but one he did not hesitate in answer too. "I am." He looked forward to having a son to carry the Crassus name, and to raise to bring greater wealth and power to the family then even Marcus had. He had high expectations for a son. "I greatly look forward to being called father." He looked over her once more, wondering why she was bold in her question. Did she have a family? "If you have a child, I would make offer toward it as well. I would not see a mother pulled from one child to serve another."

The house of Crassus bows to no one Marcus Crassus was an up and coming businessman, who was building his name to reach further then this father had. He had a pretty young wife, whom he was growing to care for as any man should, and as any wife should she was going to give him a son! Or a daughter, but he was hoping for a son. He worked often and needed to make sure that she was tended for. Which was why he was buying a new slave. Rather then go to the market, he was rich enough that he sent word for what he was looking for and someone went out and found him someone to look at.
She was shown to his office by one of his current slaves, and he looked up as she walked in. She was younger then he had thought when he asked for someone to be a midwife to his wife, but he would not hold that against her if she could do the job well. "I am Crassus," he introduced himself, looking over her. "My wife is will bring a child into the world soon, and I am seeking someone who will aid her. I hear you have such skills." She was pretty. He never forced himself on slaves, or would speak the words aloud but he took notice.

The house of Crassus bows to no one Crassus raised his eyes brows with an arrogant warning as the man began with sarcasm, before beginning to explain nothing. He stated only what they both knew. Crassus watched him, and waited for more but when he gave no further information he pressed his lips together in a displeased expression. "And you have permission to speak for the man?" Because if not then he was going to order his men to kill him for wasting his time. He was insulted enough that Spartacus didn't come, he wasn't going to make a deal with some pup who didn't have the authority to hold it to power.
"Give voice to name," he demanded, waiting to find out who he was addressing. He took in the man's manner of dress, and looked for sign of brand. He could not see clear enough as of yet to judge what house he came from, but Crassus knew most of the fighters came from the same place. THe gladatirs who killed half of Capua's nobles in a single night and then raided villas along the country side. They killed a whole city of Romans. THey were ruthless, and he wanted nothing more then to end this.

The house of Crassus bows to no one Crassus had one of his tented moved out of his camp and to a sercured location for the meeting. The rebels had many of his men--inducing his son. He wanted them back, and he was willing to give up his own hostages in order to get his men back. Which was why he had sent word to rebels that he would like to talk to their leader. To Spartacus. He wanted to look into the man's face, and make this deal. He wanted to learn hat he could from the man while he was here.
Which was why he was disappointed when a man with a smaller frame walked into the tent. Clearly not Spartacus, but he recognized the man briefly from the fighting in the city. Not enough to give a name. Spartacus had not come. "I asked for Spartacus," he spoke in a tone that held both power and annoyance. If the rebels had sent someone else he wondered what they were planning now. They had shown their ability to think wider then the Roman army before, and he was not going to let them make a mockery of him in this moment. He waited to see what the man would say before making up his mind about what this meant for the discussion they had planned to have. He would not give up the men without knowing that his son was alive and would be sent to him.

He even would reprimand a Roman who mistreated one of the slaves in the Crassus house. He is displeased by his eldest son's spoiled nature, and pushes him to take more responsibility for his own actions rather then relying on the pampered life of his father's name. He prides himself on the name Crassus, but he wants it to mean more then money--which is why he moves to war and the title of Imperator! .:Special Skills:. Crassus as built an empire that rivals none. He has wealth, and is respected by many. His name alone bares fear (as you can hear it whispered in the earlier seasons). He has the coin, but not the complete power he wants his name to have, and he wants to earn it rather then buy it. So he convinces Rome to send him and Ceaser (a young man who has the power behind his name but no coin) to end the war. His mission is not as easily accomplished as he thought it would be, but in the end he is the victor, which gains him the power he wanted the name Crassus to have. It does however cost him his son and Kore. The lost of both weights heavy him.
